A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT UP HEART FROM SCOTLIGHT DIRECT
This kind of thing really stands out and invites people info your home with its soft lights and that lovely shape – then of course you can use it for day to day decor too!
DANGLING PINE CONES
I saw this on Pinterest last week and I love it! You take some big, full pine cones, attach your favourite Christmas ribbon and then attach to the front of your door with a nail. I love the simplicity and how easy this would be to make, plus how beautiful would it look with a few lights around it.
SANTA’S HAT DOOR HANGING
This is really cute and I think the boys would get such a kick out of it! You take a normal Santa hat and fill it with flowers, pine cones and berries, hang it upside down on the door. Too cute!
TWIG CHRISTMAS SCENE
My mum used to make these, or rather a very simple version of them to decorate the dining table, when I was younger. I adore this and I’m definitely going to give it a go with the boys, maybe to han on the front door, or possibly the back one depending on what we get up to to.
THE PARTRIDGE IN THE PEAR TREE
I think this is one of my favourites of all time. So stylish and genuinely breathtaking to adorn your front porch with. Take a simple branch, spray it golden or bronze and then place a single partridge in the middle, and dangle a faux pear from the side. Beautiful.
I’ve never been a huge fan of gaudy baubles, but I do really like this idea for a slightly funkier take on Xmas. Take a large frame, some baubles of your choosing and some Xmas ribbon. It’s really that simple.
