Calvin Harris is reportedly about to drop a new song that implies Taylor Swift cheated while they were still together.
If you’ve thought that perhaps Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were moving a bit quickly after her breakup from Calvin Harris—just weeks in they’d met each other’s parents—well, you’re not the only one. Harris seems to think so too, and he’s reportedly about to drop a song about their split.
TMZ is reporting that Harris wrote a song called “Ole” from Hiddleston’s point of view—and the video was recorded in Mexico last week. The main takeaway? Harris is basically retracting what he originally said about the split when he tweeted, “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end and what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.” (That tweet has since been deleted.) Now it seems that Harris believes Swift and Hiddleston were together before he and Taylor split.
Incriminating lyrics include:
“I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend …”
“You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.”
“Low key you won’t tell none of your friends about me.” (“Low key” is perhaps a nod to Loki, the character Hiddleston plays in the Thor movies)
According to TMZ, Harris didn’t write this song because he’s mad at Hiddleston. In fact, Harris feels that Hiddleston is “under Taylor’s spell.” No word on Taylor’s side of the story, but we’ll wait patiently for her musical rebuke.
